How To Make Windows7 USB Bootable Using Command Prompt

How to install windows7 from pendrive
Many howtogeeking blog users ask me "how to make pendrive bootable with the help of command prompt
likewise i decided to write an article about this.
Similiary it is very easy to make pendrive bootable from command prompt.



 Advantages/Merit

  • Easy and as well faster
  • No requirement of additional software to make bootable

Hey:This process may be not work in Windows Xp and windows 8.

Requirement

  • 4GB Pendrive( Recommended higher)
  • Windows 7 ISO files


Instructions/Setup

Mount your windows 7 iso file using PowerISO

Open Command prompt with adminstrative right

Type Following Command

Diskpart

List disk

Select disk 1 (1 is the pendrive  number choose it according to your pendrive number)

Clean

Create Partition Primary

Select Partition 1 (1 is the pendrive partition number choose it according to your pendrive number)

Format fs=fat32 quick (Wait for until complete)

Assign (Your pendrive letter will change)

Exit

xcopy F:\*.* /s/e/f g:(where F is the windows 7 DVD Drive and G is the USB drive letter)

You can also simple copy all the files from windows 7 iso to your pendrive
